How AquaTru Purifiers Work

Powerful science, made simple.

AquaTru's 4-stage reverse osmosis technology goes beyond the taste and odor focus of many basic filters, reducing contaminants you may prefer to leave out of your glass.

Stages 1 + 2: Clean & Prepare

Capture larger particles and reduce chlorine and chloramines, preparing your water for deeper purification.

Stage 3: Deep Purification

Reverse osmosis does the heavy lifting, reducing harder-to-remove contaminants including lead, fluoride, arsenic, nitrates, chromium-6 and microplastics.

Stage 4: Finish for Great Taste

Final carbon filtration targets additional contaminants while giving your purified water a clean, fresh taste.

"One of the most popular pitcher filters that everybody thinks of is only certified to remove 8 contaminants. AquaTru is certified to remove 84. There’s really no comparison."

"I have had The Classic since it was introduced. I finally had to replace it because I wore it out but it is an incredibly effective machine for water purification. It takes all of the foul odors out of the tap water and it is crystal clear when the purification is complete. It is, by far, the best piece of equipment in my kitchen. I use it daily."

Love the machine

"The only downsize to this is that we run out of filtered water quickly because it's a small container. We figured out that putting it in a pitcher would help and it did a little. The good news is that the water feels so good that the inconvenience is not a big deal!"

I’m satisfied so far. It

"I’m satisfied so far. It has a sleek look, it purifies the water quickly after refilling the tap water tank. It dispenses easily. The water is good tasting and has no odor. In the heat of summer my tap How is it that “concentrated contaminants are in the waste water in the tap water tank after being filtered. I would very much appreciate an explanation. Sincerely, SAL"

Tastes good, quiet machine

"It's fast and pretty convenient that it auto filters. The button for dispensing the water is perfect compared to any other dispensing filter I've owned. It dispenses very fast and the buttons not hard to push. Only two complaints. I wish the tap water reservoir had a removable lid like the clean tank does. The hinged lid makes dumping the water and cleaning annoying. My second issue. Please use higher quality stickers. I spent 3x as long getting the warning sticker residue off the tank than I did for the rest of the setup."

CG (4/5)

No Regrets

"I am really happy with this product. It puts my mind at ease to know that I am drinking clean water without having to call a plumber and hook things up. I love the slide that I just purchased that goes underneath at the touch of a finger making the water changes much easier. Thank you for making a quality product."

Catherine W. (4/5)

Please read if getting the Alkaline Mineral Filter

"There is a warning in the FAQs but I know most people probably don't read it beforehand but please note if you're buying the Aqua Tru Mineral Boost Alkaline VOC Filter it will take A LOT of cycling through gallons to get rid of the fishy taste. We were a bit horrified when we tasted the first gallon after going through the instructions. . . fish was the only way to describe it however after going through a little over 20 gallons the water is truly amazing. I'm not sure if ill go through the trouble since it was time consuming so I may just get the regular VOC filter next time."

Ash (4/5)

I love it so much,

"I love it so much, no only source of water I love to drink from. You can taste the difference from faucet water to AquaTru! 10/10 recommend to my family and friends"

Celeste G. (5/5)

Customer Service

"This unit did not work out for our family, but the customer service team went above and beyond for us and you can't beat their highest standards in purity when compared to competitors. They have gained lifetime customers in us, and going to purchase the carafe model."

Anne (5/5)

Two things I think would

"Two things I think would be good to improve. 1st- I’m trying to get away from plastic. A glass container to hold the filtered water would be nice. Also, if the machine automatically put in the proper amount of minerals back and balanced the PH."

Luciano S. (4/5)

I have owned my AquaTru

"I have owned my AquaTru Classic for about one month now and it is clear that my water is tasting better. My municipal water ranks a mediocre B- and while I haven't yet verified the lack of contaminants, bacteria, and heavy metals after reverse osmosis, I can say the taste has improved markedly and if I let the "dirty water" hopper sit for a day or two, a waterline scale develops whereas one does not develop on the clean water side."

Tyler S. (5/5)

The AquaTru Classic is awesome.

"The AquaTru Classic is awesome. Love it, Water taste great. Very easy to operate. Only one suggestion. The water tank handle gets in the way when your trying to clean it. Other than that great product. No complaints."
