"I am enjoying my RO system. However, the biggest challenge is the awkward footprint which doesn't allow the unit to fit in a rectangular space. 1) It juts out beyond the counter to accommodate using the spout, and 2) creates quite a bit of wasted counter space due to the rather annoying angle of one side. For people with limited kitchen counter space, it is not a good choice. I bought one for my daughter, and she gave it away due to the space issue and the large amount of water waste, which is of course the downside or RO. I recently needed to replace the 2 main filters. i purchased the unit in March and live alone, so they will last around 6.5 months for me... the 3rd filter to add minerals back in is still ok."
