How Your Filters Work Together

Every AquaTru filter has one job, and they work together to get your water fully purified.

  • Pre/Carbon Filter: Captures sediment and rust, then reduces chlorine and chloramine for cleaner-tasting water. Replaced every 6-months.
  • Reverse Osmosis Filter: Reduces lead, arsenic, chromium-6, and other heavy metals. Replaced every 1-year.
  • VOC Carbon Filter: Reduces VOCs and "forever chemicals" like PFOA and PFOS. Replaced every 2-years.

Dr. Corey Herbert stands confidently with arms crossed beside an AQUA Tru water filtration system.

"One of the most popular pitcher filters that everybody thinks of is only certified to remove 8 contaminants. AquaTru is certified to remove 84. There’s really no comparison."

"I really like having the option to put minerals back into my water, however, this time purchasing this filter, there was a weird taste in our water for about a week, and then it subsided. Otherwise, I love our carafe water filter!"

I love this water filter.

"I love this water filter. We will be taking it with us on a beach trip soon , which is the main reason we chose the carafe model. I also love that it doesn't take up tons of room on the countertop. I have recommended it to several people !"

"I love this purifier. We use it at home and also take it with is in our RV. It works efficiently and quickly and gives me confidence that the water I am drinking is safe and best of all it tastes so good. It is hard for me to drink any other water now that I have the aquatru."

This is well worth the

"This is well worth the extra $ for the mineral boost. I've been using AquaTru Carafe since 2023 and the mineral boost does significantly change the mouth-feel of the water. It's softer and more appealing. I confess I love the way the carafe turns my swimming pool smelling water into crystal clear NOTHING. The regular filters remove what we want out of our water, but it makes for an unappealing drink --- and this fixes it. I was skeptical, that's why I waited so long. . . From now on I will buy this filter. I wish I'd started earlier! I feel less a need to add electrolytes to the water as I enjoy the taste and feel of it."

"The e tire system is outperforming my expectations. I bought 3 systems and they are all doing well. No issues."

Katrina S. (5/5)

"Lasts half the time as advertised and we have fairly good tap water we’re filtering through it. Customer service did nothing but explain how filters work over and over again. Buy abitter system if you value good customer service."

I love my AquaTru RO

"I love my AquaTru RO unit and the filters. I especially like that the filter replaces the minerals that RO takes out. The filter was very easy to install. It took a while to arrive about a week and a half."

Connie N. (5/5)

I love the taste of

"I love the taste of the water. So much better than the refrigerator water that uses a $50. 00 filter. The only negative I have is I find it hard to remove the water canaster after you run a new batch."

Andrea L. (5/5)

It takes quite a few

"It takes quite a few gallons through the mineral filter to get an unusual taste out of the water. I feel like it was releasing excessive minerals when new. The water has finally calmed down and tastes great."
