"I was a long time Berkey user despite the metallic taste and bulky/ugly metal. I switched to Culligan Zero and it was cheap plastic that burned through filters so fast it was better to buy water in f gallon containers, plus the water had a plastic taste. I upgraded to the AquaTru Glass Carafe and wish I did a long time ago. I love the taste, the glass is easy to care for and it operates quickly and smoothly. I really love it overall

"I really love it overall and the water tastes great but the machine will occasionally stop in mid cycle. It seems that somehow the machine vibrates the pitcher off the sensor and stops the cycle. I have the roller tray accessory so I am going to try taking it off when the machine does this to see if it is the roller tray making the machine vibrate too much."

"It's simple to use. Is a bit noisy, as in the level of a conversation, so that's a negative. Filters seem like they will last a reasonable amount of months. Glass carafe is very nice. Wish extra carafes weren't so pricey. Maybe sell a plain carafe to just hold water and not actually fit into the machine to active the cycle. Internet is a nightmare to set up. Took me 3 days, multiple phone calls to Tmobile, and massive frustration. Just make a machine that automatically connects to 5 ghz."

"We like that we no longer have to buy bottled water and not have to change filters monthly. However I gave 4 stars because the tank has not fit tightly since day 1. Maybe Once out of three or four refills do we get it to fit tightly. Also we noticed the filtering time has slowed down since our purchase date. July 2026. I’m concerned about whether or not there is a defect or is this a learning process until it’s broken in over time."

"I LOVE my AquaTru carafe! Our family of 3 was buying so much bottled water. It was a little hard to think about the up front amount of money, but do the math of how much you spend on bottle water (and the waste/environmental impact!) and it’s a no-brainer! We’ve found that we drink so much more water and no more annoying trips to the store when we’re out of water. The carafe fills super fast too! We have a small space so the large model didn’t make sense. But this was seriously such a great investment! DO IT!! If you’re on the fence, take the plunge. You won’t regret it!"

I love that I am

"I love that I am able to clean the water and the footprint is not too bad on our small counter. However, I do feel like we have to refill constantly because of the amount of "waste" that has to be dumped every time we refill. The main issue I have with this is that the suction on the bottom can get sticky, which means I am wrestling to pull the tank off and if water gets in there it's also a little difficult to whittle it back on. But overall very happy with it."
